What is Forever Ledger?

Forever Ledger is a simple public name registry. You pay a small one-time fee, submit your name, and your entry is permanently added to a growing list of everyone who has ever registered.

It's part archive, part internet monument, part experiment. There are no subscriptions, no profiles, no social features — just a name, a number, and a timestamp.

Why does it cost money?

The fee covers hosting costs and helps keep the ledger running. It also means entries are intentional — people who pay are more likely to submit real names.

Are entries really permanent?

The word "forever" is aspirational, not a legal contract. Entries cannot be deleted by users once added, and we have no intention of ever removing them. But this is a personal hobby project hosted at home — see the Terms & Conditions for the full honest disclaimer about uptime.
